Abstract

We demonstrate that spontaneous R-invariance breaking in a low energy SUSY theory inevitably leads to an extra light pseudoscalar boson (pionino). As this possibility is experimentally excluded the R-invariance has to be broken explicitly. for example by a lagrangian gluino Majorana mass term.
