Abstract

This paper deals with the problem of state observation of dynamical control systems in the presence of bounded nonlinearities/uncertainties. A Lyapunov method is used for the design of exponential observers. A class of min-max type of observers is analyzed, and sliding mode properties of these observers are examined.
