Abstract

Using a penetration viscometer, the viscosity of polycarbonate was measured in a temperature range of 419 to 443 K and under punching stresses between 0.25 to 20 MPa. The flow behavior under these conditions is Newtonian and the activation enthalpy is 413 kJ/mole.
