Abstract

By using an impression test, the viscosity of amorphous Se was measured in the temperature range of 29.2 to 50.7°C and under a punching stress of 0.25 to 15 MPa. The flow behavior under these conditions was found to be Newtonian and the viscosity of amorphous Se obtained this way was comparable to the literature data, including the ones from nanoindentation.
