Abstract
Inmates with disabilities are not receiving appropriate services to address their needs. The purpose of this article is to discuss the need for vocational rehabilitation services for prison inmates. Specific focus is on the scope of the problem, the role of prisons in the rehabilitation process, transition services, and collaboration between vocational rehabilitation and the correctional system. Implications for rehabilitation are presented.
