Abstract
Medicinal chemistry is a scientific discipline that has progressed rapidly over the last few decades. Facilitated by the technological advancement, the early understanding of medicinal chemistry as "synthesizing bioactive molecules" has become the connecting bridge of a variety of related scientific disciplines.
