N2 - The title compounds C22H20N2O 3S, (I) and C22H22N2O3S, (II), crystallize in space groups were studied. It was observed that the molecules of (I) displacement ellipsoids were drawn at the 50% probability level and H atoms were omitted for clarity. The molecules of (II) displacement ellipsoids were drawn at the 50% probability level and H atoms, except that linked to atom O18, were omited for clarity. The study confirms the molecular structure and atom connectivity for (I) and (II) with the help of x ray analysis.
