Abstract

Vibrationally resolved single-photon zero electron kinetic energy (ZEKE) spectra were obtained for the first time for the weakly bound adducts, In-NH2CH3, In-NH(CH3)2, and In-N(CH3)3. Adiabatic IPs and indium-amine vibrational frequencies were measured for the three complexes. The results suggest that the orbital interaction and electrostatic forces contribute to the binding between the indium metal and the nitrogen ligands.
