    Biography

    Jennifer A. Scarduzio, Ph.D. was born in Phoenix, Arizona. She attended Arizona State University for her Bachelor's Degree (2005), San Diego State University for her Master's Degree (2008), and Arizona State University for her Ph.D. (2012). She worked as an Assistant Professor at Lamar University for 3 years before joining the faculty of the Department of Communication at the University of Kentucky (UK) in Fall 2015. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication in the College of Communication and Information at UK.

    Research Interests

    Her research focuses on the dark side of interpersonal, health, and organizational communication. She studies topics such as workplace wellness, healthcare worker burnout, sexual harassment (face-to-face and online), and intimate partner violence. Her most recent projects explore coworker sexual harassment that occurs on social networking sites and healthcare worker communication with survivors of initmate partner violence during the COVID-19 pandemic.
