The Fellowship will run from May 1 to August 30. Problem statement/Industry Impact: The horticulture industry in Kentucky is an important and growing part of the agricultural economy. This fellowship will give a student and opportunity to familiarize themselves with the market, technical needs, and extension opportunities with this agricultural community. The industry will bene?t by receiving multiple outputs, publications, and visibility (see items below). Integrating these activities into undergraduate experiences helps to build horticulture allies among future agriculture professionals and allows the industry and producers of the state to interact with the student and university in new ways.
