A Cooperative Extension Program for Kentucky's Building Systems Energy Needs

Coordinate and attend outreach events to educate and promote energy efficiency. Conduct extension agent training sessions on energy efficiency. Develop electronic energy efficiency publications. Maintain and support an easily transportable ENERGY STAR focused exhibit showcasing energy efficient features for the Kentucky State Fair and other public events. Secure exhibit space (minimum 2,000 SF) in the Kentucky Main Street section of the Kentucky State Fair. Contract with Kentucky State Fair representatives for two Kentucky State Fair sponsorships. one for the University of Kentucky and one for ENERGY STAR. Report results quarterly to Commerce Cabinet. Prepare final report that includes a "lessons learned" discussion to guide the Cabinet in similar future efforts.
