Adoption Support

Project staff of the Center on Trauma and Children (CTAC) through the University of Kentucky College of Medicine will provide evidence based training and consultation services on issues related to adoption promotion and stability for foster parents, adoptive parents, DCBS workers and other professionals interacting with children eligible for services through IV-B funding. Quarterly communication between Center staff and the DCBS Adoption Branch will continue in an effort to identify how critical information learned from the Center can be applied to helping the DCBS workers help the adoptive parents. Training activities conducted in the service regions. CTAC staff for DCBS workers will be documented through the Training Records Information System.
