Area Health Educaton Centers (AHEC) Point of Service Maintenance and Enhancement

Comply with Federal Requirements. 2. Prepare and submit all information and materials necessary for the federally funded Area Health Education Centers Point of Service Maintenance and Enhancement, also known as the Model State Supported AHEC grant for project period September 1, 2012 ¡V August 31, 2013. 3. Continue to maintain and update the University of Kentucky AHEC (UK AHEC) web site with connections to the websites for every regional AHEC. 4. Participate in the planning and coordination of meetings regarding statewide AHEC issues. 5. Host the Annual University of Kentucky Statewide AHEC meeting. 6. Provide leadership in developing and implementing a strategic plan in cooperation with the regional centers to secure additional state funding for program expansion and to compensate for cost increases. 7. Provide support for the activities for the Community Faculty Program (CFP) and AHEC Health Careers Program to include the following: „h An annual workshop for community faculty, university faculty, and AHEC personnel „h An annual workshop for AHEC Health Careers Programs/Student coordinators, university staff, and AHEC personnel „h An annual workshop for University of Kentucky faculty off-site course directors/coordinators 8. Develop promotional materials for the UK AHEC Program.
