Best Management Practices for a Sustainable Urban Forest

This project will specifically include electronic and/or in-person instruction on Best Management Practices for Urban Forestry (BMP) to Kentucky municipal employees, tree board members and Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service agents. These three target audiences will have their BMP subject matter (“tract”) tailored for their needs. Each of the three tracts will be made up of multiple presentations on multiple subjects as outlined in the original proposal. Presentations provided electronically, such as webinars, will be archived for future use. Cooperative Extension agents will be required to have a pre-test and post-test to document knowledge gained. Hard copies and electronic storage drives deemed relevant to all three audiences will be made available to participants.
