Biological Basis of Genetic cMyBP-C Cardiomyopathies

SCOPE OF WORK UNIVERSITY OF KENTUCKY Researchers at the University of Kentucky will perform sarcomere, cell, and organ-level computer modeling using the FiberSim and MyoVent packages that MPI Campbell has developed. All code and associated documentation will be hosted on GitHub. The researchers will also work with Drs. Stelzer and Kampourakis to integrate the modeling work with the experimental data obtained from molecular, tissue, and animal-based experiments. The University of Kentucky researchers will meet at least every 2 weeks with other members of the collaborative team via video conference, and at least once per year at conferences or specially organized visits to the relevant institutions.
