BSE Rule and Medicated Feed Inspections

The Division of Regulatory Services at the University of Kentucky will conduct the following inspections during the period of July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014: BSE Rule Only Inspections: 59 GMP Inspections: 4 c-GMP Inspections (Includes BSE inspection): 16 1. The inspections of licensed feed establishments will be conducted to determine compliance with laws, regulations, and rules of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and any applicable state laws. 2. These inspections will assure compliance with 21 CFR 589.200 (Ruminant Feed Ban) by licensed and un-licensed feed establishments and/or 21 CFR 225.120 - 225.202 as required by inspection type. 3. The work to be performed will include filing reports to FDA of inspections and any sample examinations accomplished during this contract period. 4. The inspection work is to be performed by inspectors of the Division of Regulatory Services carrying properly obtained credentials of Federal authority to perform such inspections.
