Center on Trauma and Children School Climate Transformation

The UK CTAC will partner with KDE to provide training and consultation on Trauma Informed Practices for Educators through a series of Learning Collaboratives over a five year period that will serve areas of the state identified by KDE. Deliverables for the fiscal years spanning: 7/1/2019 to 9/30/2020 include the following: 1) Four, multi-session learning collaboratives on Trauma Informed Practices for Educators in areas of the state designated by KDE. These learning collaboratives will include a pre-work period, multiple learning sessions, learning consultation calls, and access to the group learning management system used for the specific collaborative (i.e. Google groups or Basecamp) for resource support. Two learning collaboratives will be launched by Sept 30, 2019; the remaining two will be completed by Sept 30, 2020. 2) Evaluation of learning collaborative impact will be determined through pre and posttest data collection, and documented scope of reach specific to TIPE trained school personnel.
