Dr. Lee's team is fully committed to work on the proposed experiments aimed to elucidate the mechanisms underlying the potentiating effect of arterial hypoxemia on pulmonary C-fiber sensitivity. His team has considerable experience in the study of pulmonary C-fibers and chemoreflexes, and should have no problem in completing the required experiments.
