Description
The Center on Drug and Alcohol Research (CDAR) will be responsible for conducting the evaluation for the Kentucky Department of Corrections (DOC) co-occurring treatment program.
The evaluation has 3 primary objectives:
1) Implement data collection for the DOC co-occurring treatment program, which will describe the characteristics of program clients entering treatment, and report findings to DOC project team members on a quarterly basis;
2) Examine treatment outcomes for program participants 6 months following release to examine changes in primary performance measures and report findings to DOC project team members; and
3) Conduct process evaluation consisting of secondary data collection and qualitative interviews with study participants, treatment staff, and DOC representatives in order to assess the implementation and success of the project and report findings to DOC project team members.
