Collections Management for U.S. Forest Service NAGPRA Collections The William S. Webb Museum of Anthropology will organize and process for permanent curation archaeological remains from the Daniel Boone National Forest and create an inventory of human remains and funerary objects that may be contained within the collection. These remains will be turned over to the U.S Forest Service for repatriation to the descendant Tribes as required under the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). In addition, the Webb Museum will travel to the Daniel Boone N.F. Ranger District offices or other field sites to positively identify inadvertently discovered human remains that have been discovered on Forest Service property as needed. These human remains identification trips will be limited to eight total trips within the scope of this agreement.
