Comparing the Xtend Roundup Ready and Liberty Link Soybean Systems

To evaluate relative yield of RR soybean, LL soybean and Xtend soybean in their respective weed management systems. This approach will allow us to evaluate RR, LL, and RR2Xtend soybeans under their respective weed control programs. This will allow us to compare the agronomic differences of each program. This study will also allow us to compare the Xtend and RR soybeans under the same weed management program and the LL under a similar program. This second comparison merely serves as a check to compare how the Xtend soybeans perform with and without Xtend herbicide products applied. We intend to save seed samples from these studies and analyze the soybeans for protein and oil. We do not expect to see differences resulting from the herbicide programs. We do except to observe differences among the genetics.
