Coordinating Center, Cancer Prevention and Control Network (WVU SIP #3)

The University of Kentucky Prevention Research Center (UK PRC) will collaborate in the development and evaluation of a Coordinating Center, as described in the application for SIP 3-02, "Coordinating Center, Prevention Research Centers' Cancer Prevention and Control Network". Specifically, the UK PRC wiIl provide an interdisciplinary team of personnel to provide leadership and technical support for the Coordinating Center. In partnership with the West Virginia University PRC, the UK PRC will: . develop and maintain a Coordinating Center website to provide information on activities Of the Network and disseminate information to collaborative Partners, . coordinate conference calls and meetings with Advisory Board members and other Network offices, and . lead in the development of the Network's 5-year plan for conductingand publishing intervention and dissemination research on cancer prevention and control. The interdisciplinary team of researchers at the UK PRC will work in conjunction with the West Virginia University PRC to facilitate linkages among Network members and national/state/local partners.
