Cystic Fibrosis Center Program 2024-2025 (Adult Portion)

1) With 6 pediatric pulmonary providers we anticipate clinics to increase from 6 - half days to 8 or 9 half days per week. One of these clinics will be designated for Adolescents 14 and above and will be named the "Transition Clinic". 2) Continue involvement with student, resident, and community education on cystic fibrosis. University of Kentucky Medical School now offers in the fourth year a Pediatric Pulmonology Elective. 3) Our research team has been able to fill the vacancies to include 3 research nurses and a research assistance. Once these personnel have been trained we hope to be involved with more research studies.
