Developing a System to add New Resources to DERBi PIE - OVPR Curate Program

To build toward an NEH Level II grant proposal

During this grant period, I was able to drastically improve the database/website known as "DERBi PIE", now located at derbipie.org. This website will allow users to access important etymological dictionaries, investigating where words come from in Indo-European languages. This funding was crucial with the DOGE/NEH rescission of funding of the 2024 NEH grant that I was awarded.

This is a large project, and findings are really characterized in terms of functionality, not discoveries, including granular search queries by sounds, languages, language branches, etc.
