OBJECTIVES: The objective of this research is to develop guidelines and policy to assist
KYTC design teams and consultants in the development, execution and evaluation of traffic
engineering models and roadway design. Deliverables include: 1) draft design policy, and 2)
project rep0l1. It is recommended that implementation activities fo llow the project completion to
provide training and assistance for the policy rollout..
