Enhancing the EDEN Strengthening Community Agrosecurity Planning (S-CAP) Project

The goal of this proposal is to strengthen community agrosecurity planning through enhancement of the EDENS-CAPproject. Objectives are to: [1] develop strategies to expand content, delivery, and support of EDENS-CAPpilot workshop materials to enhance future workshops; [2] contribute to EDENeducational materials by refining, revising, and/or adapting S-CAPworkshop content and delivery methods; [3] reduce risk through planning, disaster preparedness, and emergency response by providing post-workshop support to EDEN S-CAPparticipants to strengthen agricultural priorities in local EOPs;and [4] enhance community networks through local agrosecurity emergency planning education by conducting S-CAPworkshops in additional states to expand dissemination of newly revised EDEN materials.
