Environmental Protection Scholarship Program

The Institute will establish and administer for the Department of Environmental Protection. Scholarship program for students enrolled in the state universities in Kentucky. The purpose of. the program is to procure highly qualified individuals to fill the Department's personnel needs and improve the overall expertise in environmental protection within the Department. Scholarships will be awarded by the Institute on behalf of the Department on an annual basis. Scholarships may include tuition, and a stipend. The amount of the stipend shall not exceed the reasonable costs for fees, room, board, and books. Scholarships shall be known as Environmental Protection .Scholarships.
