International Brain Bank for Down Syndrome-related Alzheimer's Disease

The purpose of this study is to share human autopsy brain samples and clinical data from people with Down syndrome who were followed at the University of Kentucky Down syndrome and Aging Longitudinal study (Funded by NIH R01HD064993). Data will be de-identified. We will provide quantitative clinical and neurobiological data and neuropathology outcome measures to share with other investigators listed on this proposal. The overarching goal is to build a brain bank of clinically characterized brain tissue nationally and internationally.
