Kentucky Children's Health Program (KCHIP) Migrant Outreach FY18

KRS 205.6489 requires that the Children's Health Insurance Program shall collect, analyze, and publicly disseminate comprehensive data on the number of children enrolled in the program, services received through the program, and the effect on health outcomes of children served by the program including the special health needs of minority children. The University of Kentucky Research Foundation and its Kentucky Farm Workers' Outreach Program support Kentucky Children's Health Insurance Program (KCHIP) by providing an 800 telephone line and translations services for written material to Spanish speaking families for the purpose of providing information about KCHIP and other benefit programs available to them in their communities.
