Kentucky Transition 360 - FY 25

Abstract The Kentucky Department of Educa on’s O?ce of Special Educa on and Early Learning (OSEEL) will develop partnerships centering family mentors and innova ve services to support the transi on to compe ve integrated employment for children with disabili es. Kentucky Transi on360 (KY Transi on360) is a comprehensive project, focusing on all aspects of postsecondary transi on for students and their families across Kentucky. The name encompasses the goal of suppor ng students with disabili es to transi on into adulthood through mentorship and increasing community awareness, while also emphasizing the use of immersive virtual reality experiences to provide well- rounded and inclusive transi on opportuni es. The "360" signi?es a holis c approach that encompasses all angles of the transi on process, ensuring students have access to robust experiences in underserved areas and popula ons.
