Kentucky Woodlands Magazine - Healthy Woodlands

The University of Kentucky Research Foundation shall undertake activities to provide outreach and education by producing, printing, and distributing the next edition of the Kentucky Woodlands Magazine, "Healthy Woodland's." Some of the issues covered in the magazine include Forest Health Updates on Hemlock Wooly Adelgid and Emerald Ash Boor. In addition there will be articles on Woodland and Wildlife management plans and the do’s and don’ts of conducting timber harvests. The Contractor shall implement the following: Task 1 – Produce one edition of the next magazine and the deadline is December 30, 2018 for this agreement. Task 2 – Feature an issue that will provide a mechanism for woodland owners to seek educational/informational opportunities to increase their forestry knowledge base.
