Abstract KHIT 143, Rapid Field Testing and Load Rating of Steel Girder Bridge without Design Plans (008B00098N-KY 237 over Tributary to Gunpowder Creek, Boon Co., KY) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) proposes to conduct field testing and load rating of the KY 273 Bridge over the tributary to Gunpowder Creek. The objective of this project is to visually inspect the bridge, identify strain gauge locations and placement, and conduct rapid field testing, load rating, and reporting.
