KIDS NOW Evaluation Project

The scope of this research project i sto determine the quality of care in center-based programs in Knetukcy and the relationships between quality and the KIDS NOW Initiative and the relationships between teacher characteristics and quality of care. This will entail observation of one classroom: ITERS (Infant/Toddler) ECERS-R and ELLCO (Preschool). It will also include a teacher survey of education, years of experience and professional development and survey of directors to determine education, years of experience, characteristics of program and participation in KIDS NOW Initiative.
