KIPRC Consumer Product Safety

Kentucky Injury Prevention and Research Center (KIPRC) which is part of the University of Kentucky, will provide program support to the KY Dept for Public Healt, Div of Public Health Protection & Safety (DPH/PHPS) in the area of consumer product safety. KIPRC will collaborate with (DPH/PHPS) staff and others as appropriate to determine the effectiveness of recall activity. Collaborate with DPH/PHPS in communication with local health departments to assess effectiveness of recalls by visiting retail venues to confirm receipt of information and action to remove from public access.
