Public Health Services and Systems Research Coordinating Center

This project will support the University of Kentucky's College of Public Health and its existing Center for Public Health Services and Systems Research (PHSSR) in leading efforts to further enhance the development and sustainability of efforts to assure that the organization, administration and financing of public health is evidence based and uses knowledge generated by research to accomplish this task. Key program components include developing and administering up to four calls for proposals; building the evidence of what works driven by the public health practice community; increasing researcher capacity in conducting PHSSR; catalyzing the application of research; and expanding funding for PHSSR.
