School Improvement Evaluation FY13

The evaluation unit of the Human Development Institute (HDI) at the University of Kentucky (UK) will conduct an evaluation of the effectiveness and impact of the state's implementation of the School Improvement State Grant funded by the U. S. Department of Education. The purpose of the SIG project is to assist some of the lowest performing Title 1 and non-Title 1 schools in the state which are in improvement, corrective. or restructuring status and which· have not met A YP in reading and math in the last two years to increase student achievement in these subject areas at all grade levels and among all subgroups.
