Scope: Environmental Scan (C2840)

Faculty members of the University of Kentucky (UK) College of Public Health (CPH) have completed assessments of the state of Electronic Health Record (EHR) adoption by Kentucky healthcare providers in 2008, 2012, 2015, 2017, and 2019. These surveys included multiple types of healthcare organizations to provide a comprehensive assessment of electronic health information technology use. To further support the State Medicaid Health Information Technology Plan (SMHP), UK CPH faculty will update and expand selected information for the final 2021 Health Information Technology (HIT) environmental scan.
