Description
SIAM provides funding to help chapters generate interest in applied mathematics and computational science
among students on campus. SIAM encourages interdisciplinary participation and encourages chapters to reach out
to departments outside the mathematical sciences to attract members.
The UK SIAM student chapter plans to invite a speaker from the SIAM Visiting Lecturer Program (VLP) to come to
our campus and give a colloquium talk to graduate and undergraduate students interested in applied mathematics.
