SPR 15-512: CDL Work Flow Study

OBJECTIVE: Provide assistance for the implementation of completed research projects in accordance with defined and approved implementation activities. This will include the cost of developing/providing specifically defined initiatives, such as a workshop, specifications/guidelines, or on-site training. BACKGROUND: At times research recommendations/findings do not get implemented due to a gap between the completion of the research and the operational or procedural changes needed to realize the research recommendations. This bridging activity is needed to better realize the potential of highway research recommendations The objective of this study is to identify ways for the Department of Vehicle Regulation to consolidate current CDL work processes in an effort to improve the efficiency of the CDL program.
