SPR 2013 Prime KTC

The general purpose of the SPR research grant is to conduct basic and applied research and perform other investigative studies relating to various transportation engineering, technology and operational activities necessary for the planning, development, construction and operation of Kentucky’s highways and bridges. KTC is charged with meeting the Cabinet’s request for wide-ranging transportation research program and special studies. KTC provides the necessary administrative services, research expertise and research facilities/equipment and to conduct, coordinate and manage the continuing program. This includes establishing project teams lead by principal investigators and providing a program management staff to assure the efficient planning and execution of the program.
