Statewide Independent Living Council Coordinator FY12

Provide support and coordination to the Statewide Independent Living Council (SILC) an organization mandated by the Rehabilitation Services Administration to develop, implement and monitor the triennial Statewide Plan for Independent Living (SPL). A part-time coordinator will assist the SILC in carrying out this federal mandate by coordinating meetings, insuring adequate communication among the SILC memb3ers, the centers for independent living in the state, the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation and the Office of the Blind, supplying the SILC with adequate information and resources, and assisting the SILC in conducting other activities as needed to fulfill its mandate.
