Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program-Education (SNAP-Ed)

The University or Kentucky (UK) will provide Nutrition Education to Food Stamp recipients and/or applicanls in the Barren River, Big Sandy, Bluegrass (Fayette), Bluegrass Rural, Cumberland Valley, FIVCO, Gateway/Buffalo Trace, Kentucky River, KIPDA, KIPDA Rural, Lake Cumberland, Lincoln Trail and Northern Kentucky Service Regions with limited services in the Green River, Pennyrile and Purchase Service Regions. UK will provide services in accordance with the Cabinet's mission and goals aimed to create a seamless transition of deliverable services that build on opportunities designed to assist low income families and recipients of the Kentucky Transitional Assistance Program (K-TAP) to attain their highest potential, maintain meaningful employment and economIc self sufficiency.
