The primary roles of the University of Kentucky for Year 1-5 of this project are: provide
assistance in study design and statistical analysis for Aim 1 – Aim 3; recruit ovary cancer
patients; perform data linkage with CMS for the recruited Kentucky ovary cancer patients and
data mangement; provide assistance for annual report and manuscripts.

Description of Work
Year 2:
Provide overall assistance in the study design, aims and recruitment. < BH/TT>
Provide guidance and assistance for statistical analysis, including data quality checking,
statistical methods development and statistical analysis for the SEER*Medicare data
proposed in Aim 1 and 2. < BH/QC >
Identify and recruit patients in Kentucky. < BH/RW/BD >
Communicate with the study PI through monthly meetings or as needed. < BH/TT/QC >
Provide assistance to the study annual report. < BH/QC
Weekly, we will upload encryted file of contact data for individuals who have provided consent for contact release so that te NC team can reach out to eligible individuals regardiging participation in the larger survery. At the end of the recruitment period (or at pre-specificed periods but not routinely, we will upload a de-indentified file of demograpgic and clinical data for all participants we mailed study material to from the Kentucky Cancer Registry. For partients in the study providing consent to link with the registry, we will provide these same data with a study ID that can be linked to these individuals.
The primary roles of the University of Kentucky for Year 1 of this project are: provide assistance in study design and statistical analysis; prepare for IRB and patient recruitment for study.
Provide assistance in the study design, aims and acquiring SEER*Medicare data.
Provide guidance and assistance for statistical analysis, including data quality checking, statistical methods development and statistical analysis for the SEER*Medicare data proposed in Aim 1 and 2
Submit IRB application and prepare for the patients recruitment.
Communicate with the study PI through monthly meetings or as needed.
Provide assistance to the study annual report.
