UK AHEC Navigator Database Development and Enhancement

The UKRF, AHEC’s Navigator Database maintains data on students interested in pursuing a medical career and helps to place graduated medical students in medically underserved areas. In its present form, the system only tracks current students and is limited in scope of data. By updating the Navigator Database system, it will allow the AHEC to track students after graduation and allow the data to be retrieved and reviewed in a reportable format. This will help to provide a better understanding of healthcare professional issues in Kentucky.
