UK Contract with Protection and Advocacy - Monitoring of SSA Rep Payee Program & Rights Advocates

Abstract The Contractor will provide oversight and education that is critical for provision of quality services and supports for people with disabilities. Activities will be in concert with the Commonwealth. This Contractor will provide client representation to those living in personal care homes who are impacted by the Amended Settlement Agreement with the Cabinet for Health and Family Services. In addition, the Contractor will provide oversight for Kentuckians utilizing the Social Security Representative Payee program, ensuring compliance with federal reporting requirements, and ensuring that representative payees are using bene?ts appropriately. Technical assistance, information and referral services, reporting, and reviews will be hallmarks of project e orts.
