UK-KDE State Improvement Grant (SIG)

In order to implement the goals of the Kentucky State Improvement Grant, the University of Kentucky Research Foundation, Interdisciplinary Human Development Institute and the Kentucky Transition Collaborative will provide material development, te!:ical assistance and statewide training. These activities willinclude support for KDEService Teams as related to student trat',; ilion. Activitieswillalso focus on increasing competencies of paraprofessionals, technical assistance with KDEstatewide d 'tout prevention initiatives, and creating working models for student Course of Study as required by the IGP and IDEA transition sE.ilices, with intent of increasing student graduation rates. Materials will be developed to promote student self-advocacy as active participants in their IGP and transition services/IEP development.
