Serving KY Emergency Management. The HMGP Office will provide outreach and assistance to local communities in mitigation project applications; coordinate with FEMA for FMA application approvals; manage mitigation projects; close mitigation projects with the local communities and FEMA; aid Kentucky’s Area Development Districts and some local communities in the completion and maintenance of mitigation plans; provide technical assistance and training around the state on these mitigation topics; and provide other assistance to KYEM as needed.
