Resumen
In an effort to include the most reliable tool for analyzing and predicting cohesive sediment transport processes, a three-dimensional cohesive sediment model is developed. The primary factors that affect flocculation and break-up of sediment are related to the flow field characteristics calculated by a parallel hydrodynamic model. Verification/Calibration of the cohesive sediment model is included. In addition, a simple application is shown to illustrate the model's ability to track several sizes(classes) of floc.
