Resumen

A photoconductive dipole antenna is analyzed using the Discontinuous- Galerkin Finite-Element Time-Domain method. An approximate model for the antenna is discussed. The excitation is approximated as the induced photocurrent in the dipole gap, and the photocurrent is derived from the minority carrier diffusion equations. Various simulation convergence results are discussed for the emission intensity of the dipoles.
