A study of IE formulations in Near-Resonance Decoupling Approach (NRDA) for cavity scattering problems

Resumen

The solution of integral equations (IE) for cavity scattering problems in near-resonance decoupling approach (NRDA), was described. In NRDA, the scattering problem is solved in two steps. An artificial surface is introduced to cover aperture of cavity, and object is divided in two parts such as interior region and exterior region. To preserve the boundary condition of original problem magnetic surface current was also introduced on aperture surface. The results show that NRDA's performance is very sensitive to formulation of integral equations, and among various formulations, the TETH-type combined field integral equation.
